This policy explains the information practices for pleasantlybuilt.com, the Pleasantly Built website operated by René Ceretto.

Information you choose to provide

The email signup on the homepage is provided by Flodesk. If you subscribe, the information you submit is sent to Flodesk so the requested newsletter can be delivered. Pleasantly Built does not publish a contact form on this site.

Site operation and external services

The site is hosted through Netlify. Like other web hosts, the hosting service may process technical request information needed to deliver and protect the site. The design also requests font files from Google Fonts. Those providers may receive technical information such as an IP address, browser details, and the page or resource requested.

Pleasantly Built uses Google Analytics 4 only after a visitor chooses “Allow analytics.” Google Analytics helps measure visits, traffic sources, page views, scrolling, outbound-link clicks, and other site interactions so the site can be improved. Google Analytics does not load before permission is granted. Pleasantly Built does not use display-ad scripts or Grow.

Affiliate and external links

Some links lead to retailers, affiliate storefronts, social platforms, or the separate Pleasantly 30a booking site. If you follow one of those links, the destination's own privacy practices apply. See the Affiliate & Advertising Disclosure for more about compensated links.

Cookies and local storage

If you allow analytics, Google Analytics may set analytics cookies such as _ga and related property cookies. Pleasantly Built disables Google advertising signals and ad-personalization signals in its site configuration. You may decline analytics or change your choice at any time through the “Analytics choices” control. Withdrawing permission prevents Google Analytics from loading on future page views and removes analytics cookies that the site can delete. External services used for newsletter signup, fonts, hosting, or a destination you choose to visit may use their own technologies.

Your choices

You can decline analytics without losing access to the site and can change that choice later through the persistent “Analytics choices” control. You can also choose not to use the newsletter form or follow external links. Newsletter messages should include the provider's unsubscribe control.
